Team Secret announce roster, coaching changes for 2019-2020 season

MidOne goes inactive, SunBhie to be replaced by Heen, and MATUMBAMAN joins the organization as Team Secret unveil its 2019-2020 roster

Team Secret had sat out the first round of Pro Circuit qualifiers in this 2019-2020 campaign, but the organization is now ready to return to active play with an updated roster. The team announced that its lineup for the new season would include some changes, with a pair of new additions to the organization. First, the team announced that coach Lee “SunBhie” Jeong-jae would no longer be with the squad,  with Team Secret bringing in former Team Liquid and TNC Predator coach Lee “Heen” Seung Gon to replace him.

On the player side of things, the team also announced that hybrid Carry/Midlaner Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng will be shifting into an inactive role within the organization, with the player taking a break from the competitive scene. In his place, Team Secret welcomed TI7 Champion Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen to the roster, with the Carry having become a free agent following the dissolving of the Chaos Esports Club lineup.

In MATUMBAMAN and Heen, Team Secret have added a pair of extremely experienced players, both of whom have found success in their specific roles at the highest level of play in the Dota 2 world. With their talents bolstering what was already considered to be an elite squad, Team Secret stands to continue its run as one of the strongest teams both within the European region, and across the entire international scene. While the team’s new lineup has been properly announced now, Team Secret still has a bit of time before it will be fully active again, as the team’s first official appearance is not set to come for another month in the form of the season’s second round of Pro Circuit Qualifiers at the beginning of December.

The roster of Team Secret following the addition of MATUMBAMA and Heen:

Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen (Carry)

Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg (Offlane)
Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat (Support)
Clement “Puppey” Ivanov (Support, Captain)
