The Russian Carry is set to enter free agency after just over a month with the Team Unique organization
Team Unique has announced a departure from its Dota 2 roster, as Carry Arslan “xannii” Shadjanov will no longer be a member of the team moving forward. This announcement comes just over a month after the organization had introduced a new roster, of which xannii had been a central piece. The organization’s official statement did not list a particular reason for xannii’s departure, but did state that the team will be announcing a new fifth player in the near future.
Team Unique had been on a somewhat impressive run with its new roster prior to the departure of xannii. The squad did not qualify for either of the recent Pro Circuit Closed Qualifiers, but did string together 5 straight Top 4 finishes in October, all of which came within its home region. As for xannii himself, his time with Team Unique certainly had the potential to make a strong impression on another organization within the region, and the Carry could have some opportunities to play for a prominent squad this season. We will simply have to wait and see what the future holds, both for xannii and for the organization that he now leaves behind.
The roster of Team Unique following the departure of xannii:

Oleg “LastHero” Demidovich (Offlane)
Vitaliy “so bad” Oshmankevich (Support)
Alexei “j4” Lipai (Support, Captain)
Mikhail “safeone” Ponezhin (Manager)
